Model I Specifications (available in Right or Left hand mounting, shown with Right Hand mounting and large barrel micrometer heads)
This model will produce movements in the X-Y planes. Each slide has 1 inch travel. Dimensions of the mounting slide are 2-1/8 inches wide by 3 inches long. The mounting slide has six #10-32 tapped holes. There are four drilled and counterbored holes in the base for fastening.

Various micrometer heads are available for this unit. The standard size micrometer heads can be graduated with .001 inch graduations or .01 mm graduations. Large barrel micrometer heads are available with .0001 inch graduations or .002 mm graduations.

The castings are of high strength aluminum and finished with light gray enamel. The ball races and slides are tool steel hardened to 60 - 62 Rc and nickel plated.  This unit will carry 25 pounds.

Model I with standard size micrometer heads weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces and with large barrel heads weighs 4 pounds 5 ounces.

This model will produce movements in the X-Y-Z planes. Each slide has 1/2 inch travel. Dimensions of the mounting slide are 1-3/4 inches wide by 1-5/8 inches high. The mounting slide has four #6-32 tapped holes. There are four drilled and counterbored holes in the base for fastening.

The micrometer heads are graduated with .001 inch divisions. Metric micrometer head with .01 mm divisions is available. The castings are of dense iron, nickel plated and finished with light gray enamel. Aluminum castings can also be furnished.

The vertical slide will carry 1 pound. One or two extra springs can be added and each spring will allow the unit to carry an additional pound.

Model J with iron castings weighs 4 pounds 2 ounces, this unit with aluminum castings weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces.

 

Model K - 1/2" Travel

Movements: Joystick movement 10 to 1 ratio

Model K Specifications
This model is controlled by a joystick and has two horizontal motions. Total travel is 1/2 inch in all directions. The mounting slide will move in any direction the joystick is moved. Ratio of movement of the joystick to the mounting slide is 10 to 1. The mounting slide has four #6-32 tapped holes for fastening fixtures and the base had four drilled and counterbored holes for fastening purposes. This model is useful where small movements are needed while observing through a microscope. Model K weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces. This unit will carry 4 pounds.

 

Model L - 1" Travel

Dimensions of the mounting slide are 7/8 inch wide by 1-1/2 inches long. The mounting slide has four #6-32 tapped holes. There are four drilled and counterbored holes in the base. The slides and ball races are made of hardened tool steel.

The castings are of dense iron, nickel plated and finished with light gray enamel.

Micrometers with .001 inch graduations or metric micrometers with .01 mm graduations are available. We can also substitute thumbscrews in place of the micrometer heads to shorten the overall dimensions. The unit is also available with Left Hand mounting. The vertical slide will carry 1 pound. Model N weighs 1 pound 10 ounces.

 

Model O - 1/2" Travel
